Former Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland has reportedly had a health issue flagged ahead of Thursday's draft.
It's been revealed that Ragland has an enlarged aorta, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, which will require annual monitoring.
While the issue is not expected to affect Ragland's NFL career, notes Rapoport, it has caused him to drop down several teams' draft boards.
An enlargement of the aorta, the largest blood vessel of the body, is not an unusual condition, according to emedicinehealth.com.
Ragland is one of the draft's top prospects and will likely still be a first-round pick if teams believe his health concerns are indeed minor.
