The Kansas City Chiefs announced the signing of free-agent wide receiver Mike Williams on Monday.
Official terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Williams is joining the club on a one-year contract, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Williams adds some further depth and competition to the position coming off a 2015 season in which Kansas City's passing game took a significant step forward.
A former fourth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Williams last played with the Buffalo Bills in 2014.
His most impressive season came as a rookie in 2010, when he hauled in 65 receptions for 964 yards and 11 touchdowns.
