The Jacksonville Jaguars have become a trendy pick to make the playoffs in 2016 thanks to several key free-agent acquisitions and their existing core of young playmakers.

Wide receiver Allen Hurns isn't a fan of all the attention, though.

"I don't like it," he told Mike DiRocco of ESPN. "I like to stay under the radar."

The Jaguars kicked off free agency by luring defensive tackle Malik Jackson away from the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, and adding running back Chris Ivory to help improve their 27th-ranked rushing attack. They also brought in safety Tashaun Gipson to shore up the secondary.

"Coming into last year nobody gave us a shot so now everybody wants to give us all this love now," Hurns said. "It's good getting the love, getting the respect. Guys are aware of where we're headed, but at the end of the day those guys weren't with us from the beginning. I guess that's part of the league. If you're not doing well, that's what's going to happen."

While Hurns would prefer to stay under the radar, he can't help but buy into the excitement surrounding the Jaguars.

"It's very exciting around here just to see the moves we made this offseason," he said. "We've got the draft coming up. I'm sure there'll be some more exciting moves. Also, with guys we have coming back, it's a great time for things right now."
