The Detroit Lions have selected safety Miles Killebrew out of Southern Utah in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Killebrew was viewed as one of the best players available after the third round and one of the more underrated small-school players. He fills the role of a hybrid linebacker-safety that has become quite popular among teams.

The Lions could use Killebrew in that hybrid role or allow him to start as a traditional strong safety along side Glover Quin.

Killebrew is expected to be one of the hardest hitters in the draft.
