World Wrestling Entertainment crushed its previous attendance record for one of its events on Sunday night for WrestleMania 32.
"The People's Champion" The Rock announced to the WWE Universe that a record crowd of 101,763 filled the AT&T Stadium to catch the action live.
The previous record came in 1987 at WrestleMania 3 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich., when 93,173 fans witnessed Hulk Hogan defend his WWE Championship against Andre the Giant in the main event.
