Roy Jones Jr. believes he's the all-time best athlete-rapper
Over the past few decades, many athletes have made ill-advised forays into the world of rap music.
Among those who applied their talents on the microphone, legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr. believes he's the best athlete who's ever rapped.
Jones argues his feature on Body Head Bangerz' 2004 single "Can't Be Touched" is the best contribution to rap by an athlete, ever.
"I got to be the best. I have to be the best. That song has over 80 million views on YouTube. I have to be the best," Jones said to Robby Kalland of CBS Sports.
Asked if he's a better rapper than 15-time NBA All-Star Shaquille O'Neal, Jones doubled down on his comments.
"I have to be! Name another guy with 80 million views on one of their songs from an athlete?! Who else?!"
Although his song gained popularity, it's safe to say Jones will be remembered for his illustrious boxing career, as opposed to his brief musical stint.
