The Washington Redskins signed safety David Bruton on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Bruton signed a three-year, $9-million contract, a source told FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo. Moreover, Bruton's deal reportedly includes $1.5 million in incentives.
Bruton recorded 49 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions in 13 games with the Denver Broncos, helping the team capture Super Bowl 50.
The veteran safety spent the first seven years of his career with the Broncos after being selected in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Bruton excelled on special teams for the Broncos, but will likely be afforded a strong opportunity to crack the Redskins' starting lineup at strong safety, competing with DeAngelo Hall.
