Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has been suspended four games for violation of the league's substance abuse policy, according to multiple reports.
Gregory was thought to be a surefire first-round pick at this time last year, but failed a drug test at the NFL's scouting combine and fell to the end of the second round. It was revealed he tested positive for marijuana.
Concerns over his ability to handle the mental aspect of life in pro football also factored into his fall down draft boards, despite his top-end pass-rushing ability.
In his rookie season, Gregory failed to record a sack and was hobbled by a lingering ankle injury.
