Redskins' Paul: RG3 will 'ball out' wherever he goes
Robert Griffin III spent much of the past year in a state of limbo, watching on as the Washington Redskins moved forward with Kirk Cousins as their starter.
The widespread expectation is that the Redskins will move on from Griffin this offseason and teammate Niles Paul is confident that he'll be just fine wherever he ends up.
"Robert hasn't missed a beat," Paul told 106.7 The Fan's Grant Paulsen and Danny Rouhier on Wednesday. "I'm confident, wherever he goes, he'll play and I expect him to do big things, because that's just the type of person he is, the competitor he is. I know Rob is not down and out, he's just that type of guy and I love him to death. I know that, if it's not here, wherever he goes he'll ball out. I guarantee that."
Griffin didn't play a snap in 2015 and was plagued by injuries the season before that, but there's likely someone out there willing to give the former first-round pick a chance.
