VIDEO: Scott dumps Kane, then drops gloves with NHL's leading scorer
It's official: John Scott has won everyone over.
After scoring seconds into his All-Star debut, Scott endeared himself further to the Nashville crowd, dumping public enemy No. 1 Patrick Kane with an open-ice hit and then play-fighting with the Chicago Blackhawks star at the end of the shift.
"That was unexpected," Kane said. "I don't know if I expected too much hitting in the All-Star Game let alone 3-on-3. The whole sequence, it'll be something pretty cool for people to play over and over."
Dustin Byfuglien on if Patrick Kane and John Scott had really fought: "Kane would have suckered him good if they really went at it."

Scott's hit was the second recorded at the All-Star Game since 2003.
The crowd might have appreciated a few more punches, though, John.
