Tom Brady (ankle) didn't have a noticeable limp while walking around the locker room Tuesday

Brady (ankle) didn't have a noticeable limp while walking around the locker room Tuesday afternoon, Michael Whitmer of the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

With the Patriots on bye and always hesitant to share injury information, this may be the closest thing we get to an update until next week. Even though he's believed to be dealing with a high ankle sprain, Brady is expected to be ready for a divisional round matchup with either the Bengals, Chiefs or Texans. The Patriots are probably glad to avoid a potential matchup with the Steelers, but it sure would have been nice for anyone who's counting on Brady to put up big numbers in the playoffs. The other remaining AFC teams all appear quite strong on the defensive side of the ball.
