New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is known for his creative play-calling, and one of his favorites seems to be the drop-kick.
After taking a 14-0 lead on the Philadelphia Eagles, special-teamer Nate Ebner - a former rugby star growing up - attempted an unorthodox drop onside kick.

In 2006, Belichick famously gave journeyman quarterback Doug Flutie the opportunity to execute a drop-kick extra point. Kicker Stephen Gostkowski also tried an onside drop-kick in 2011, but it was kicked out of bounds.
