DFS: Sunday's Small Forward Value Rankings

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's small forward value rankings for Sunday, November 15 (rankings are for the main DFS slate beginning at 5 p.m. ET):

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Nicolas Batum (CHA) vs. POR 8
Marcus Morris (DET) at LAL 7

Despite five prime-time games on the slate there isn't a lot to choose from among the small forward class. Batum had a triumphant game on Friday recording 28 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals against the Bulls. Al-Farouq Aminu is a tough defender but Batum's emotional play could trump the competition.

The Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jae Crowder (BOS) at OKC 7
Gordon Hayward (UTA) at ATL 6
Al-Farouq Aminu (POR) at CHA 5

Crowder has been an absolute terror on defense this season. 'Stealing' the ball might be too polite to describe what the Celtics' swing has done. While Crowder hasn't developed into an effective scorer, he will corral a handful of rebounds and, most importantly, force turnovers. Crowder has averaged a tremendous 3.5 steals per game, including 18 steals in his last four games.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Rudy Gay (SAC) vs. TOR 4
DeMarre Carroll (TOR) at SAC 4
Metta World Peace (LAL) vs. DET 4
Thabo Sefolosha (ATL) vs. UTA 3
Kyle Singler (OKC) vs. BOS 2

Gay and Carroll are two names that stand out but should faded nonetheless. Gay missed Friday night's game with illness that was significant enough to put the Kings' SF in the hospital. Carroll has also missed time of late with plantar fasciitis. Against each-other, Gay's offense is canceled out by Carroll's defense. It's too tough to give one player the edge so both are probably worth taking a pass on.
