The Tigers were leaving the door open for Iglesias to play again, but he simply hasn't progressed in his recovery quickly enough to make it back. Iglesias has yet to be cleared to hit after suffering a non-displaced chip fracture in his right middle finger in early September. Manager Brad Ausmus said he'd be "shocked" if the shortstop took BP this weekend.
