Sunderland's Lee Cattermole signs contract extension through 2021
Lee Cattermole is very happy at Sunderland, and apparently plans on being at the Stadium of Light for the majority of his career.
The 27-year-old inked a new long-term contract with the Black Cats on Thursday, a deal that will - barring a transfer - likely see him end his playing days with the team he has called his own since 2009.

The long-term signing of the English midfielder, who made 28 appearances last season and is now three shy of 150 with the club, elicited the following reaction from manager Dick Advocaat:
"Lee is the controller of the side. He is a motivator, a leader and central to the success of our team. To know that he will be with us for many years to come is very important to the club."
