With UFC 188 steadily approaching, the promotion's hype machine is kicking into high gear in the hopes fans will plunk down 50 bucks to see possible terminator Cain Velasquez throw hammers at grappling wizard Fabricio Werdum.

It's an outstanding matchup, and the winner will walk away from Mexico City the undisputed champion (although, to be fair, Velasquez is the true champion).

Also on the card, a potentially scintillating lightweight bout between Gilbert Melendez and Eddie Alvarez, two former champions who have been angling to fight each other for years.
