Report: Islanders make offer to Latvian free agent Miks Indrasis

While many eyes across the NHL have been focused on the Scouting Combine, the New York Islanders have been looking elsewhere for possible roster additions.

The Islanders have offered a contract to Latvian free agent Miks Indrasis, according to Sports.ru's Igor Eronko.

The 24-year-old forward is coming off his third full season in the KHL with Dinamo Riga where he had 16 goals and 31 points in 59 games.
