Jesper Fast was too much for Ben Bishop to handle on a breakaway midway through the first period of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final on Wednesday.
Chris Kreider sprung his New York Rangers teammate on a breakaway after a Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman was hurt just prior to the play. Fast faked a shot before lifting a backhand deke over Bishop's outstretched pad to put New York up 2-0.
The Lightning responded 1:12 later with a goal by Steven Stamkos, cutting the lead to 2-1.
