The Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with 2015 first-round draft pick Danny Shelton on a four-year contract, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Selected No. 12 overall with the first of Cleveland's two opening-round picks, Shelton's deal is reportedly worth a fully-guaranteed $11.7 million, and includes a $6.7-million signing bonus.
Possessing a rare blend of size, strength and quickness, Shelton will be expected to earn a starting role at nose tackle from day one, and help shore up the Browns' league-worst run defense.
Next on the agenda for Cleveland will be reaching a contract agreement with their second first-round pick, offensive lineman Cameron Erving.
