Report: Broncos' Julius Thomas will play vs. Chargers, Virgil Green to start

Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas will make his return to the field in Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers, but it appears he could have somewhat of a limited role.

Virgil Green is expected to get the start, according to the Denver Post's Mike Klis.

Whether or not Green will have more snaps than Thomas over the course of the game is unclear, but clearly the Broncos are trying not to rush their star tight end back into action with the playoffs just around the corner.
