Fowler's defensive partner, Ben Lovejoy, will miss six-to-eight weeks with a broken bone in his hand, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

The Ducks and Fowler found a perfect partner for the dynamic young defenseman when the defensively inclined Lovejoy was acquired from the Penguins in February of 2013. "I know where he's going to be or I know what he's thinking in this situation and that," Fowler said of Lovejoy. "That chemistry is hard to find."
