Percy Harvin's move to New York is now official.

The New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks finalized a trade that saw Harvin head to the Jets for a 2015 conditional draft pick.

“Percy is a versatile, dynamic player who has been productive on offense and special teams," said Jets general manager John Idzik. "We’re excited about adding him to the Jets.”

Harvin's game-breaking speed will be a major asset for the Jets, who are mired in a six-game losing streak.

Reports emerged that Harvin's behavior was the impetus for the trade. According to The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta and Jayson Jenks, Harvin fought with Golden Tate before the Super Bowl, giving Tate a black eye. The former Seahawks star also scrapped with Doug Baldwin before a pre-season game in August.

The Jets released David Nelson to make room for Harvin. Incidentally, the two were teammates at the University of Florida.
