PHOTO: Royals' Guthrie trolls Orioles after Game 3 victory with epic shirt; apologizes on Twitter
Brimming with confidence after his club's victory in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series, Kansas City Royals right-hander Jeremy Guthrie wore a shirt during his post-game press conference Tuesday night that probably won't go over well in Maryland.

A little hubris is to be expected from the Royals at this point, as the surging club has yet to lose a game this postseason and remains just one win away from their first trip to the World Series since 1985.
Guthrie, incidentally, tossed five solid innings at Kauffman Stadium in his postseason debut, allowing just one run to help his club secure a 2-1 victory over the Orioles.
He later apologized on Twitter for the epic trolling.
My intention was not to anger O's fans or friends w/my shirt 2night.I apologize to those offended.Did not consider this reaction.Go Royals.

Prior to Game 4, Guthrie took to the podium at Kauffman Stadium to reiterate his apology.
"I was blinded to the fact that something I thought was fun was offensive," he said.
Guthrie said he also apologized to former Orioles teammates who mentioned the shirt to him and added he'll never wear the shirt again.
