It was a scrappy match between Poland and Germany for a majority of the time during their Group D encounter Saturday.
However, while the defending World Cup champions dominated possession, it was the Polish squad that found the back of the net first.
Poland broke the deadlock in the 51st minute when Arkadiusz Milik soared above defenders to get his head on the ball and guide it past a helpless Manuel Neuer.

Poland grabbed a second goal in the dying minutes of the match to grab three critical points against, arguably, the best international team in the world.
