Red Wings' Datsyuk practicing in non-contact jersey while shoulder heals

Pavel Datsyuk returned to practice with the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday wearing a non-contact jersey while he recovers from a separated shoulder.

Datsyuk suffered the injury 10 days ago and is expected to miss the first couple weeks of the regular season. The 36-year-old missed nearly half of the 2013-14 season due to injuries and has not played at least 80 games over the course of a full season since 2009-10.
