VIDEO: Carleton beats Ottawa on hail-mary touchdown
It's not often we dabble in CIS action, but considering the dramatic way the Carleton Ravens defeated the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday, it needs to be seen.
Trailing 31-27 in the dying seconds, Carleton quarterback Jesse Mills tossed up a prayer, and to the delight of the home fans, it was answered by Nate Behar after the ball was tipped into his awaiting fingers and he scampered into the endzone.
Have a look:
Heartbreak for the Gee-Gees, as it appeared the game-ending interception was there, but instead it's the Ravens that emerged with the 33-31 victory.
Quarterback Nick Gorgichuk started for the Ravens and passed for 318 yards, but it was Mills in for the final miracle play. The win moves Carleton's record to 2-1 on the season after finishing 0-8 last year.
