Matt D'Agostini signs 1-year contract with Switzlerland's Geneve-Servette HC

Free agent forward Matt D'Agostini signed a one-year deal with Geneve-Servette in Switzerland's National League A on Friday, according to the team's official website.
"I am very excited at the prospect of a new experience in Europe and especially in Geneva," D'Agostini said. "My goal is clearly to serve the team by contributing as much as possible to the group's success. My family is also very happy to discover a new culture, and is excited to [travel to] Geneva as soon as possible."
The 27-year-old appeared in 57 games in 2013-14 split between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres, scoring five goals and adding 7 assists and 110 penalty minutes.
