Burleson says arm wasn't fractured: 'It was reported a lot worse than it is'
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Nate Burleson is denying reports that he fractured his left arm during an April minicamp, according to ESPN's Pat McManamon.
Burleson, who earlier on Tuesday said that he expects to get his cast removed this week, has not practiced with the Browns since undergoing surgery on his left forearm.
"It was reported a lot worse than it is," Burleson said in reference to reports he suffered a fractured arm. "It looks a lot worse than it is."
The veteran receiver said he aggravated a plate that was inserted into his arm when he broke it last year, and needed surgery to correct it.
"I'm kind of rebuilt, like Robocop," he said. "Sometimes you have to go in and fix a little bit. It was minor, though. I've had much worse."
Burleson, who signed a one-year deal with the Browns during the offseason, said he expects to be ready for Week 1.
