John Wall receives treatment for his eye, expects to play in Game 4
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is often praised for his on-court vision. During the regular season, the first-time All-Star ranked second in the league in assists per game (8.8).
However, during Friday's contest against the Indiana Pacers, Wall "could barely see" after being poked in the eye on a drive to the basket in the second quarter.
Wall battled through the injury and played a team-leading 40 minutes in a 85-63 loss to the Pacers. He managed to compile 6 assists but he also committed 7 turnovers, which is understandable given his injury. With their point guard hampered the Wizards struggled to score and shot a mere 32.9 percent from the field.
To help alleviate the scratch on his right eye, Wall sported a contact lens with solution on Saturday. Fortunately for the Wizards head coach Randy Wittman believes Wall will be fine for Sunday.
