With the sixth pick of the seventh round, 221st overall, the Buffalo Bills selected linebacker Randell Johnson out of Florida Atlantic.
Johnson has good size and speed for the position, but isn't much of a threat to attack the quarterback. His best season came in 2011 when he recorded 92 tackles, 14 ½ tackles for loss and four sacks. In the two years since, Johnson totaled just 62 tackles, 10 ½ tackles for loss and 4 ½ sacks.
The Bills acquired the pick from Tampa Bay when the Buccaneers traded up to 149th overall to select offensive tackle Kevin Pamphile out of Purdue. Buffalo also got a fifth-round pick in 2015 in the deal.
