The NHL's players and media have come to an agreement: Sidney Crosby, Ryan Getzlaf, and Claude Giroux were the most valuable players in the league this season.
The NHLPA announced Monday that the same trio of forwards who were nominated for the Hart Trophy will vie for the Ted Lindsay Award, a distinction given to the league's "Most Outstanding Player" as voted on by their peers.
Crosby is seeking consecutive honors, while Getzlaf and Giroux have yet to feature the award on their respective mantles.
The winner will be announced June 24th at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.
