AJ McCarron to have a private workout with Rams

The AJ McCarron pre-draft tour is scheduled to make a pit stop in Missouri.

McCarron, who believes he'll be a mid-to-late first round pick in next week's draft, has already worked out for the Cleveland Browns, and was sidelined by an illness when he was scheduled to show off his skills to the Tennessee Titans in late April.

Although the Rams hold two picks in the first round (2nd and 13th), it's unlikely they'll use one of those selections on a quarterback. Instead, they'll probably try to surround current pivot Sam Bradford, a former first overall pick, with a few more weapons.
