Here is a look at the probable pitchers for Thursday's action around the majors.

Oakland Athletics at Minnesota Twins, 1:10 p.m ET

RHP Dan Straily (0-1) vs. RHP Mike Pelfrey (0-1)

Straily hasn't allowed a run to any of the Minnesota Twins' batters currently on the roster in 20 at-bats.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs, 2:20 p.m ET

RHP Gerrit Cole (1-0) vs. LHP Travis Wood (0-1)

Wood struck out eight in his first start of the season, one shy of his career high.

Miami Marlins at Washington Nationals, 4:05 p.m ET

RHP Tom Koehler (1-0) vs. RHP Stephen Strasburg (0-1)

Strasburg has more starts (14) and more wins (6) against the Marlins than any other club.

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, 7:05 p.m ET

RHP Clay Buchholz (0-0) vs. RHP Michael Pineda (0-1)

Buchholz struggled in his first outing of the season, earning a 12.46 ERA in his 4 1/3 innings of work. Meanwhile, in Pineda's long-awaited return to the mound, he struck out five and walked none in six innings.

Milwaukee Brewers at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 p.m ET

RHP Marco Estrada (0-0) vs. LHP Cliff Lee (2-0)

Former NL MVP Ryan Braun is hitting .435 with three home runs in his career against Lee.

Houston Astros at Toronto Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m ET

LHP Dallas Keuchel (0-1) vs. RHP R.A. Dickey (1-1)

Keuchel saw the Toronto lineup last season and allowed 10 hits in 7 1/3 innings.

New York Mets at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 p.m ET

RHP Jenrry Mejia (1-0) vs. RHP David Hale (0-0)

Mejia needed 101 pitches over six innings to earn his first victory of the season. He struck out eight Reds batters and allowed five walks in the outing. On the other side, Hale has allowed just one earned run through his first three career starts. He's never faced the Mets.

Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox, 8:10 p.m ET

RHP Danny Salazar (0-0) vs. LHP John Danks (0-0)

Ryan Raburn has faced Danks more than anyone in the Indians lineup, and it shows: he's hitting .379 with three home runs in 29 at-bats.

Arizona Diamondbacks at San Francisco Giants, 10:15 p.m ET

RHP Randall Delgado (0-1) vs. RHP Ryan Vogelsong (0-0)

Neither pitcher recorded a quality start in his first outing of the season. Things won't get easier for Vogelsong against his division rivals. D-backs' Aaron Hill, Miguel Montero, Gerardo Parra and Martin Prado are all hitting at least .294 against the righty.
