The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced the signing of cornerback Mike Jenkins to a one-year, $1.5-million deal on Thursday.
Jenkins spent the 2013 season with the Oakland Raiders, recording a career-high 65 tackles and two interceptions. He spent his first five seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys.
Jenkins, 28, is Tampa's second free agent signing at the cornerback position. He joins Alterraun Verner, who signed a four-year, $26.5-million contract on March 11.
