Former Texas Tech QB Michael Brewer transfers to Virginia Tech

Former Texas Tech quarterback Michael Brewer confirmed his decision to transfer to Virginia Tech on Sunday. 

Brewer recently visited Virginia Tech, and will be eligible to play immediately for the Hokies after graduating from Texas Tech in the spring. 

Brewer will have two years of eligibility remaining, and admitted that the coaching staff was the main reason why he chose Virginia Tech. 

"I ended up liking everything about it. The coaching staff was a big part of it. I really enjoyed getting to know them," Brewer said via The Roanoke Times.
