Bears raising season-ticket prices for 11th time in 12 years
Chicago Bears season-ticket holders can expect to pay even more in 2014.
Season-ticket prices will see an average increase of 4.1 percent next season, the team announced Wednesday. It is the 11th time in 12 years ticket prices have been on the rise.
CEO/President Ted Phillips is blaming the increase on the limited capacity of Soldier Field, which holds 61,500 patrons - the smallest stadium in the league.
The Bears had the fifth-highest average ticket price ($103.60) last season behind the Patriots, Giants, Jets and Cowboys.
