Headed to San Diego:
- Torres, who could becomes the Padres' top left-handed reliever this season, fashioned a 1.71 ERA with a 0.90 WHIP over 39 appearances in 2013, averaging 9.6 strikeouts per nine innings while holding opposing hitters to a .159 batting average.
- Hahn, meanwhile, a 24-year-old right-hander taken in the sixth round of the 2010 draft, posted a 2.15 ERA over 67 innings at Hi-A Charlotte in 2013, posting a 3.5 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
Headed to Tampa Bay:
- Forsythe, a versatile utilityman who hit .214/.281/.332 with six home runs for the Padres last year, logged time at five different positions in 2013, though he received the bulk of his playing time at second base.
- Brad Boxberger appeared in 18 games for the Padres last season, twirling a 2.86 ERA despite his 1.46 WHIP and unsightly walk rate (5.3 per nine innings). The 25-year-old righty averaged 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings while holding left-handed hitters to a .182 batting average.
- Matt Andriese, a third-round pick in 2011, compiled a 3.27 ERA over 134.2 innings last season between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A Tucscon. The 24-year-old issued just 29 walks in 27 appearances -- including 25 starts -- while allowing only five home runs.
- Matt Lollis has struggled throughout his minor-league career, posting a 4.79 ERA over five seasons as a professional. The 23-year-old spent time at three different levels last year, including an ill-fated stint at Triple-A in which he compiled a 6.28 ERA over 32 appearances.
- Finally, Maxx Tissenbaum is a 22-year-old second baseman who hit .277/.365/.359 with 28 doubles and four stolen bases over 111 contests at Lo-A Fort Wayne in 2013.
