Billy Horschel: Tied for sixth at Zurich Classic
Horschel and and teammate Tom Hoge carded a cumulative score of 27-under at the Zurich Classic to finish tied for sixth place.
Analysis:
Horschel and Hoge were great teammate in New Orleans, especially in their Thursday and Saturday two Best Ball rounds where they were a combined 19-under. In addition to great play on Thursday and Saturday, the two also hung a pair of four-under par 68s in Friday and Sunday's Alternate Shot format. For the week, they made 28 birdies and two eagles which kept them in contention all week long. The top-10 finish for Horschel is his first of the season and moves him to 78th place in the FedEx Cup standings. Horschel will look to build off of this good momentum when he makes his next official start.
