Harris English: Share of fourth at Harbour Town
English posted a two-under 69 during the final round of the RBC Heritage to finish tied with Ludvig Aberg and Collin Morikawa for fourth.
Analysis:
The opening rounds at Harbour Town had relatively calm weather conditions, resulting in lower scoring rounds across the field. That was the case for English, who carded a bogey-free, seven-under 64 in the opening round before his three-under score Friday. He was near the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend but gained just three strokes over the final two rounds. It was still enough for English's first top-5 finish of the 2026 season, and it was his best performance since his solo second at The Open Championship in July. He was the second-best putter in the field at the RBC Heritage, gaining 5.97 strokes on the green while ranking T5 in bogeys made, T6 in scrambling, T12 in birdies made and in the top-25 in GIR and SG: Around-the-Green. English won't tee off at the Zurich Classic next week but should be in the field in the next Signature Event, the Cadillac Championship, which starts April 30.
