Hideki Matsuyama: Solid final round leads to T12
Matsuyama closed with a three-under 69 on Sunday at The Masters to finish in a share of 12th place.
Analysis:
Although Matsuyama was never in contention, he had a quality final round with seven birdies (to go along with four bogeys) to narrowly miss out on a top-10 result. His 21 birdies for the tournament ranked tied for second, and he ranked 10th in SG: Approach. It's Matsuyama's fifth top-15 finish across nine starts this year.
