Tulane special teams coordinator Barry Lamb granted medical leave of absence
Tulane head coach Curtis Johnson revealed that special teams coordinator Barry Lamb has been granted a medial leave of absence. Lamb left in the second half during Tulane's 34-17 loss against FAU on Nov.2.
"We had a situation at the game. Coach Barry Lamb has a medial condition - he'll be on a leave of absence for now, I don't know (if it's) indefinitely. I don't know how long it will be. He's on a medical leave. Something happened during the game. It was a bunch of different things. I know he was dehydrated - that was one of the things but there were several other things. It looks like that is going around," Curtis Johnson told The Times-Picayune.
Tulane revealed that former special teams coordinator Doug Lichtenberger replace Lamb on an interim basis.
