Tateyama was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday, the Rangers' John Blake reports.

Tateyama had an 11.88 ERA for the Rangers over 8.1 innings. Justin Grimm will take his roster spot, and there's a good chance Tateyama won't make it back to the big leagues until September.
