Derrick Rose 'not bitter' over LeBron James' NBA 2K14 cover
LeBron James and the Miami Heat may have eliminated the Chicago Bulls from the playoffs two of the past three seasons, but Derrick Rose isn't bitter about James stealing his NBA 2K cover glory.
"No, no, not bitter at all," Rose said when asked about James appearing on the NBA 2K14 video game cover, via Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times. "He won the championship, so he deserves to get every cover."
Rose, who appeared on the NBA 2K13 cover alongside Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin, said he's a fan of the changes 2K Sports has made to its newest game.
"They left a lot of the play the same, but no doubt the big thing is they changed the dribble," Rose said. "It was always hard to dribble on there, but they added some things, made it feel a lot more realistic. Like, if you go in the lane and dribble too much, your guy will lose the ball a little bit more. They're definitely trying to bring the realness to that game."
In addition to improved ball-handling move, NBA 2K14 also features the "LeBron: Path to Greatness" mode, which allows players to control James' future.
