Ravens draft kicker Loop amid uncertainty surrounding Tucker
The Baltimore Ravens selected Arizona kicker Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, No. 186 overall. Loop is the first kicker the Ravens have ever drafted.
Loop joins the team as the NFL investigates incumbent kicker Justin Tucker. Tucker has been accused of sexual misconduct by 16 massage therapists.
Tucker, 35, also struggled through his worst season in 2024. His 73.3% field-goal conversion rate was the worst mark of his career. He was notably inaccurate from deep, missing five of his 11 tries from 50-plus yards. Tucker holds the NFL record for career field-goal percentage (89.1%) through 212 career games.
Loop made 67 of his 80 field-goal attempts in college (83.8%) and 98.4% of his extra points. He also punted 28 times for 1,200 yards.
