It was just a cleanup procedure for Beachy, who had some lingering debris in his elbow following Tommy John surgery last season that ultimately limited him to just five starts with the Braves this season. Beachy will enter spring training with a much better bill of health but it remains to be seen if he can ever regain the form that made him a top-of-the-rotation starter for the Braves.
