NBA veteran Beverley signing with Israel's Hapoel Tel Aviv

Twelve-year NBA veteran Patrick Beverley will join Israel's Hapoel Tel Aviv ahead of next season, he said Tuesday on the "Pat Bev Podcast."

"They gave me everything I asked for. … I couldn't refuse," Beverley said about the team's offer.

Beverley spent last season with both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 73 total contests.

During Milwaukee's season-ending playoff loss to the Indiana Pacers, Beverley twice threw a basketball at Pacers fans behind the Bucks' bench. He was suspended four games for the incident, which would carry over if he ever signs with a new NBA team.

The 36-year-old made three All-Defensive teams between 2014 and 2020, but he's played on six teams in the last four seasons.

Hapoel Tel Aviv plays in Israel's Premier League and EuroCup, the continent's No. 2 league behind the Euroleague.
