Max Verstappen: Wins Sprint Pole in Miami
Verstappen will start from pole for the Sprint in Miami after storming to P1 in Friday's Sprint Qualifying, while an earlier challenge from McLaren seemed to fall away, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
While the McLaren's off Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris would look strong in SQ1, they would fade as the qualifying session wore on. Verstappen would go out late in SQ3 and post a lap of 1:27.641 to beat out Charles Leclerc my a mere tenth. The Red Bull Racing star will roll off P1 for Saturday's Sprint on the Miami International Autodrome circuit.
