Eli Manning may have received the wrong intel about the agent of New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito.

Sean Stellato, who represents DeVito, lit up social media during the Giants' 24-22 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, with many people commenting on his all-black outfit choice.

Manning also got in on the fun, claiming on the ESPN2 "Manningcast" simulcast that he heard Stellato went by the nickname "Slimy" in college. However, it turns out Stellato was unaware of the nickname.

"I don't know if that's just him being a southern dude, but you know what, I look at it as elegant," Stellato said on WFAN's "Boomer and Gio" show Tuesday. "I don't understand where 'Slimy' comes from."

When told that Manning said it was a nickname he received in college, Stellato responded, "Never heard that nickname in my life."

"I don't know where that came from, but it is what it is," he later added. "I think he might have watched too much 'Goodfellas.'"

Stellato played football collegiately at Marist and professionally in the Arena Football League before becoming a sports agent.
