Pop-Tarts Bowl to feature 1st-ever edible mascot
The college football teams competing in the 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl will want to come hungry.
Pop-Tarts announced Monday that its inaugural bowl game will feature the first-ever edible mascot, which will "transform into a game-winning snack for the victors."
The Pop-Tarts mascot is a real-life creation of brand's "Agents of Crazy Good" campaign, featuring characters based on various flavors of the pastries.

What is now called the Pop-Tarts Bowl was first played in 1990 in Miami Gardens, Florida before relocating to Orlando in 2001. It was known as the Cheez-It Bowl for the past three seasons.
This year's game takes place on Dec. 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando and will feature teams from the ACC and Big 12 conferences.
