Chad Johnson agrees to pay fine if Ja'Marr Chase mimics TD celebration
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase may recreate one of Chad Johnson's iconic touchdown celebrations if he finds the end zone during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
Chase delivered a message to Johnson on Thursday proposing that he commandeer a television camera after scoring a touchdown, just like the former Bengals wideout once did. There's one stipulation, though.
"Chad, if I score a touchdown and grab the camera like you did, I need you to pay for the fine for me," Chase said. "That's my only catch, man."
Johnson responded soon after on X, agreeing to cover Chase's fine.

Johnson originally busted out the camera-grabbing move during a Nov. 25, 2007 game against the Tennessee Titans. The move resulted in a 15-yard penalty for excessive celebration.
Through seven games this season, Chase has 60 receptions for 656 yards and four touchdowns.
